Basketball: LWC announces Men's schedule for 2023-24 Season

Embarking on his fourth season at the helm of the men's basketball program, Lindsey Wilson head coach Chris Starks has announced the schedule for the 2023-24 season.

The Blue Raiders will face a 29-game schedule that features an extended non-conference portion and the familiar foes of the Mid-South. They will officially open the 2023-24 season at 7pmCT on October 27, 2023 to take on Carolina in the Brady Button Memorial Classic at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

The team's out-of-league slate includes nine first-time opponents and two exhibitions with NCAA-level competition.

Altogether, Lindsey Wilson is 29-9 all-time against this season's non-conference schedule, and it begins on Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28 when the Blue Raiders host the Brady Button Memorial Classic, during which they will face off with Carolina University (N.C.) and the University of St. Francis (Ind.).

The season-opening home stretch continues on November 4 versus South Carolina's Voorhees College and picks up again on the 14th against Welch College (Tenn.) and on the 21st with Toccoa Falls (Ga.). Between those three games, Lindsey Wilson has two tournaments on the docket, the Bevo Francis Classic in Rio Grando, Ohio, and the Thomas More Classic in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

November concludes on the road in Campbellsville for the Tiger's Thanksgiving Classic, then in Jackson, Tennessee as the Blue Raiders challenge their first NCAA opponent in Union University.

December into January covers four additional non-league games and another exhibition against Southeast Missouri State. Then, on January 11, Lindsey Wilson visits Georgetown College (Ky.) to tip off a 12-game conference schedule.

The Blue Raiders won 11 games during the 2022-23 season, including seven at home.
