Campbellsville Fire-Rescue locates missing person

Campbellsville Fire-Rescue

Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to Speck Ridge Road for a report of a missing person at 11:15ET on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Upon arrival, firefighters interviewed the reporting party and coordinated with Taylor County Sheriff Department. Searchers gathered lost person information and performed a hasty search of the residence and a hasty search of roadways without finding the individual. Firefighters then performed a detailed search operation, systematically using lost person behavior information.

A search team located the missing individual in heavy brush in a wooded area. The patient was located conscious/alert but did require transport to TRH.
