ACSO: Adair man charged with drug trafficking

On Friday, September 15, 2023, at around 11pmCT, Sheriff Deputy Josh Durbin opened an investigation on Mackie Spoon Road, because the Sheriff's Office had received complaints of drug trafficking at the residence and the resident was a felon convicted on possession of firearms.

The investigation lead to seizure of a quantity of firearms, pills, methamphetamine, and cash.


Arrested was Andrew Rupe, 39, of Adair County. He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Deputy Josh Durbin.

The Adair County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation. Deputy Durbin was assisted in the in the investigation by K-9 Deputy Chandler Staten and CPD Sgt. Evan Burton.
