Samuel Alan Wayne Young, 20, Green County, KY Samuel Alan Wayne Young of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of Michael Wayne Young of Campbellsville and Martha Lynn York Landis of the Grab Community of Green County, was born on Thursday, April 24, 2003 in Glasgow and passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023. He was 20 years, one month, and 28 days of age. Besides his parents, he was survived by a son: Remington Cade Young and Remington's mother, Angel Holliman both of Columbia; step-father: Brian Landis of Grab Community; a brother and sister-in-law: Michael Anthony and Taylor Campbell of Columbia; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Britany Elizabeth and Tyler Barret of Columbia, and Leslie Beauchamp of Campbellsville; nieces and nephews: Saylor Campbell, Emma Barret, Jackson Barret, Lucas Tungate, Lily Tungate, Riley Deering, and Coal Teel; a special aunt: Sherah Young of Jamestown; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services for Samuel Alan Wayne Young will be conducted at 1pmCT Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Old Thompson Cemetery in Little Barren. Bro. Ricky Arnett officiating. Visitation is requested from 10-12noonCT Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
