Memorial Day program at VFW Post 6097 on Sunday

From Ronnie Holt, Commander
VFW Post 6097

Everyone is invited to the VFW Post at 2pmCT (1400 hrs) on Sunday, May 28, 2023, for our Memorial Day program to honor all our fallen Heroes from all wars.

The program will be in two parts as we will begin in the post with our opening rituals and our speaker for the day and then proceed outside to the Memorial for the laying of the wreaths. Our speaker for this year's program is US Army CWO-4 (retired) Russell Lundford. Chief Lundsford is our Post 6097 Jr Vice Commander. Russell is married to Janice (Loy) Lundsford and they resided at Fairplay.

Please help us honor those that helped keep our freedoms we know today. Class A or B uniform is appropriate for all veterans if you choose.

VFW Post 6097 is located at 500 Greenhills Road, Columbia, KY.
