Sandra Kay Davis, 82, Campbellsville, KY (1941-2023) Sandra Kay Davis of Campbellsville died at 8:36 P.M., Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Louisville. She was 82 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. John Loper. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Sandra Kay Davis, daughter of the late Willie Eugene Murrell and Sarah Ermine Eubank Murrell, was born February 5, 1941 in Green County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Millers Chapel Methodist Church. Sandra was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She enjoyed sewing in her free time and loved her cats. She united in marriage to Dale Davis November 7, 1959 and he preceded her in death January 9, 2000. She is survived by one son and one daughter: James Dale Davis, Jr., and fiance, Loraine Sams, and Celia Lyons of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Nathan Lyons, Coty Hayden and Ashton Davis of Campbellsville, and Matthew and Mark Hayden of Princeton; one sister, Lucille Gentry of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Sandra was also preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Speed and a son-in-law, Opha Nathaniel Lyons. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
