Golf: LWC Men finish 4th at NAIA Championship Mesa, AZ - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team wrapped up play at the NAIA National Championship Friday at Las Sendas Golf Club with a fourth-place finish. The fourth-place finish is the best finish at the NAIA Tournament in program history. Lindsey Wilson finished the tournament with a 16-over par 1168 (293-300-288-287). The Blue Raiders' 287 in the final round is the best score in program history for a round at the National Tournament. Callum Waugh and Rio Saigal earned All-Tournament team honors finishing in the top 15. With their top-15 finishes, Waugh and Saigal have qualified for next year's National Tournament. Waugh posted the best individual finish in program history at the National Tournament finishing third. Waugh carded a 3-under 69 in the final round to finish the tournament with a 7-under 281 (68-72-72-69). He led the tournament going -13 on par fives. Saigal shot a 71 in the final round to finish 13th with a 289 (75-71-72-71). Janik Hawlitzky finished tied for 47th with a 299 (77-79-70-73). Sebastian Sandin finished tied for 63rd with a 303 (76-78-75-74) while Ivan Ninkovic finished 73 Following the tournament, Waugh and Ninkovic were named Golf Coaches' Association of America All-Freshman Team. Ninokvic was also named an NAIA Ping First Team All-American by the GCAA. British Columbia won the team title with an 1157 while The Master's finished runner-up.
