Golf: Play Halted During 2nd Round of MSC Championship

Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team sits in third at the Mid-South Conference Championship at Bowling Green Country as play was halted in the second round.

Due to a late start because of weather and a delay just a few holes in, the second round was not able to be finished. The rest of the second round and the final third round will begin at 7:30amCT on Tuesday.

The Blue Raiders are 15 shots off the lead set by Cumberlands (KY) on the first day of action. Lindey Wilson trails second place Cumberland by just one shot heading into the final day of competition.


Zofia Wojcik sits in the lead and is 4-over par in the second round. Wojcik did not play in round one. Katie Biddlecombe is tied for second after a 75 in round one and is currently two-over par in the second round.

Lauren Holeman is in 11th, Megan Mann is tied for 22nd and Hannah Sumner is 29th. Paige Gray competed in round one and shot an 89.

The final day of the MSC Women's Golf Championship gets underway Tuesday at 7:30amCT at Bowling Green Country Club.
