ACES students featured in traveling art exhibit From Rachel Waggener Adair County Elementary School students Michelle Lewis and Zhanyta Thurman were featured in this year's "Arts for All Kentucky" Student Traveling Art Exhibit, "A Matter Of Perspective." Michelle and Zhanyta are in Ms. Garmon's homeroom at ACES. This art show is a juried art show, meaning their artwork was chosen out of many, many artworks from across the Commonwealth. Michelle and Zhanyta have both worked so hard to achieve this prestigious honor, and ACES is so proud of them! View a slideshow of the 2023 exhibition at Facebook: www.facebook.com/watch. From the website: "Arts for All Kentucky is a non-profit organization that promotes arts, education, and creative expression for all. The Student Traveling Art Exhibit, 'A Matter of Perspective' is an annual exhibit comprised of original artwork created by students with disabilities from across Kentucky. This art exhibit is available to schools, museums, businesses, libraries, and hospitals across the Commonwealth each year. Teachers are encouraged to submit their students' original artwork each fall in order to participate in the exhibition." This story was posted on 2023-05-08 11:45:05
