Lindsey Wilson's commencement celebration, the 117th in College history, will be held over two days. To accommodate the large crowd, graduates have been allotted tickets for guests in attendance. The first ceremony will take place at 6pmCT on Friday, April 28, 2023, in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. The Friday evening event will recognize students receiving a master's degree or doctoral degree; and students who attended LWC online or at one of the community campus off-site locations. The second ceremony will take place at 10amCT on Saturday, April 29, in Biggers Sports Center. The Saturday morning event will recognize students who attended LWC on the A.P. Combined with the 380 degrees awarded at LWC's winter commencement ceremony, the Lindsey Wilson Class of 2023 will be a record 741 graduates - the most in the 120-year history of The United Methodist-affiliated college. The College awarded a record 705 in 2022. "Commencement is always the highlight of the school year," said Lindsey Wilson President William T. Luckey Jr., who is celebrating his 25th year as the eighth president of the liberals arts college. "And it's an especially exciting day this year as we celebrate our largest graduating class in school history for the second year in a row. This will be a wonderful day for our students and their loved ones." The Lindsey Wilson College Nursing Division will honor its seniors at 6pmCT on Thursday, April 27, 2023, with a pinning ceremony in V.P. Henry Auditorium, 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY.
