Temporary Burning Ban in Campbellsville until 8pmET Thurs

Campbellsville Fire-Rescue

Under the authority of Open Burning Ordinance 21-12 section II subsection n, the Fire Chief shall have the authority to implement a temporary burning ban due to environmental conditions including but not limited to high winds or extremely dry conditions.

Due to the following conditions, a temporary burn ban will be in effect until April 20, 2023 at 8pmET:
  • National Weather Service Red Flag Warning
  • Wind 15-20MPH with gust up to 30MPH
  • Dry fuels
  • Low relative humidity
Any fire that develops will likely spread rapidly.
