Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments on March 30 On Thursday, March 30, 2023, the Adair County Circuit Court Grand Jury met and handed down indictments against 14 individuals from Louisville, Bowling Green, Russell Springs, and Columbia, KY, and Vestavia Hills, AL, and Columbus, IN. Charges included possession, assault, strangulation, unlawful imprisonment, flagrant nonsupport, receipt of stolen property, wanton endangerment, flight, reckless driving, speeding, trafficking, public intoxication, theft, criminal mischief, fraudulent use of a credit card, and criminal solicitation to commit murder, arson, and insurance fraud. NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
