Larry Alvin Bell, 72, Campbellsville, KY (1950-2023) Larry Alvin Bell of Campbellsville departed this life on Friday, March 24, 2023 at his residence. He was 72 years old. There will be a funeral service for Larry Bell at 11amET on Monday, March 27, 2023 at L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Mike Gribbins will officiate. The family requests visitation on Sunday March 26, 2023 from 5pmET until 8pmET at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Larry Alvin Bell, the son of the late Creed Alvin Bell and Myrtle Mae Warren Bell, was born August 25, 1950 in Larue County, KY. He was a retired truck driver and farmer. He enjoyed restoring John Deere tractors, farming, working with his cattle, watching westerns, country music and spending time with his family. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife: Annette Morris Bell, One daughter and one son: Laree Antoinette Shively and husband Jansen, and Alan Bell and wife Melissa all of Campbellsville. One brother: Gary Bell and wife Jeanie, and one brother-in-law: Thomas Jr. Morris all of Larue County. Seven grandchildren: Jastyn Shively and companion Chloe Garrett, Jayvian Shively, Latavia Shively, MacKenzie Knight and companion Marcus Anderson, Lindsey Knight and companion Dawson Vaughn, Caleb Knight and companion Ellington Gowin, and Caiden Bell. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters: Roy Bell, Shirley Morris, Loyd Bell, Arvin Ray Bell and Dean Bell. L.R. Petty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
