Founder's Day Parade is May 13 in Summer Shade

Do you love a parade? If so, please make plans to be in the Founder's Day Parade Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Summer Shade, KY.

Parade time will be 9:30amCT to kick off the day's events. Lineup will be on Cemetery Road and come out on the lower side past the hill. Signs will be posted to identify the road that will be used for parade entries. All parade attendees need to be ready at least 15 minutes prior to start.



The Founder's Day Committee requests that all entries remain wholesome and should not be anything that would taint or obscure public figures.

Parade entry information may be provided by email or phone this year.

Please send your name and the type of entry (float, car, truck, etc.) to the Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce email address or call the office at 270-432-3222 and speak with Kim or leave the details in the message. Email metchamb@scrtc.com
