CPD: Meth arrest By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department On Thursday morning, March 23, 2023, officers with the Columbia Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Oak Street, where caller had stated a female was repeatedly knocking on the door and walking around property. Contact with female was made as she was walking on Oak Street. The female gave officers her name and it was found she had an outstanding warrant from Pulaski County. Subject was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, and was taken into custody. Julie Franklin, 26, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine. Assistant Chief Charles Greer was the arresting Officer. He was assisted by Officer Trent Williams. This story was posted on 2023-03-24 20:20:09
