Tennis: LWC welcomes two Tennessee opponents this week The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's tennis teams prepares to serve off two games at home against Bethel (TN) and Freed-Hardeman (TN) at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex on March 16 and 17, 2023, at 1pmCT and 2pmCT, respectively. The Wildcats and the Lions enter with a 2-6 record on the men's 3-3 for the women's side for Bethel. FHU slots in with a 2-2 record for the men and a 3-2 record for the women. The Blue Raiders enter after falling to No. 12 Cumberland (TN), 4-3, on the men's side while beating the (RV) Phoenix, 5-2, on the women's side. Lindsey Wilson fell to the No. 12 spot in the NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25. LWC holds the No. 13-ranked Men's Singles player in Jan Silhavy as Tiago Almeida slots in at No. 41. Almeida and Lucas Marques secure the No. 15 spot in the Doubles ranking. The women's side also fell in the rankings, to No. 13, in the latest NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Blue Raiders hold the No. 50-ranked Singles player in Darija Mladenovic, as Anastasiia Ivanchenko and Mladenovic take the No. 19 ranked Doubles position. Live Stats will be available.
