Bowling: LWC men wrap up 22-23 season at ISC/ITC Sectionals

Smyrna, TN - This past weekend at Smyrna Bowling Center, the Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team concluded its 2022-23 season with a 16th-place finish at the Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional Tournament.

The Blue Raiders made their first appearance in the competition since the 2018-19 campaign and closed with a final score of 11,990 in total pins, and an average score of 187.3.


Lindsey Wilson shot its best game of the weekend during the first block of baker bowling, in which the team posted a 254 in the seventh game.

Individually, senior Brandon Pendley paced the locals in the Intercollegiate Singles Championships Sectional on Friday, firing an average of 205.5 to garner 32nd place overall.

Freshman Nick Blakey placed 44th with a pin fall total of 1,198, and Jason Womack (1,174), Peyton Huskey (1,108), and Dylan Stringer (1,095) finished 60th, 90th, and 100th, respectively, to round out the Blue Raiders' individual lineup.
