Fanola Milby Bishop, 77, Green County, KY (1945-2023)

Fanola "Faye" Milby Bishop was born April 12, 1945 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Homer Jeff Milby and Lillie Marr Milby. She departed this life Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She attained the age of seventy-seven years, ten months, twenty-two days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and worked at Tops Safety Apparel.


Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister: Frances McCubbins.

She is survived by her husband Garnett Bishop, one daughter and son-in-law: Melissa Bishop-Larimore and her husband Curt of San Diego, California, one son: Jeffrey Bishop of Greensburg, one brother and two sisters: Vernon Ray Milby and Irene Marr of Gabe and Maxine Marr of Bardstown; one granddaughter: Brittany Nicole Bishop and one great granddaughter: Arianna Bishop, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fanola "Faye" Milby Bishop will be conducted 11amCT Friday, March 10, 2023 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Greg Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in the Summersville Community of Green County.
