Outdoor Warning Sirens and CodeRED Alerts

From Mike Keltner, Director
Adair Co. Emergency Management

We currently have two outdoor warning sirens that have failed the recent siren test (Lindsey Wilson College and Wal-Mart Area). The estimated time to repair is unknown at this time. We want to remind the public that the outdoor warning sirens are meant for persons outside. During a severe weather event, they will probably not be heard in a household or business.

The Adair County Fiscal Court provides CodeRED Weather Warnings and Alerts to all citizens of Adair County. If you have not enrolled for CodeRED, please follow this link and sign up to receive alerts: Community Notification Enrollment for Adair Co.
