Tillie Jones, 87, Green County, KY (1935-2023) Tillie B. Jones was born March 14, 1935, in Green County, KY to the late Newton and Mattie Smith Bagby. She departed this life Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at her home in Greensburg, having attained the age of eighty-seven years, eleven months and seventeen days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was united in marriage January 1, 1954, to Larry Jones, who preceded her in death February 3, 2021. Besides her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. She was a bookkeeper, homemaker and dedicated housewife. She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law: Ron and Marla Jones of Greensburg and Kevin and Tessa Jones of Campbellsville, five grandchildren: Chris, Blake, Cliff, Hayden and Larry Kevin Jones and two great grandchildren: Luci Jones and Ollie Jones, plus a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at the Greensburg United Methodist Church at 2pmCT Saturday, March 4, 2023. Visitation: 12noonCT Saturday until the funeral hour. Burial in the Greensburg Cemetery. Minister: Bro. Gary Baker. Pallbearers: Chris Jones, Blake Jones, Cliff Jones, Hayden Jones, Larry Kevin Jones, Ron Jones, Kevin Jones. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Greensburg United Methodist Church. These can be made at the church or at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
