Indoor Track and Field: LWC to compete in NAIA Championship

Lindsey Wilson's Indoor Track & Field teams are prepared to take part in the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championship this week starting Thursday, March 2 at Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, South Dakota.

Five members of the men's team in Justin Borden, Jace Cowman, Nolan Foushee, Jelle Golbach, and Edwin Van Wyk will compete as Meredith Johnson, Nikki Ravelli, and Luna Senica will represent the women's side.


Events will start on Thursday at 12pmCT with the pentathlon and then the heptathlon. On Friday, Cowman will kick things off for LWC with the men's 3000-meter race walk at 11:25amCT while Foushee competes in the 600-meter run at 2:05pmCT. Ravelli and Senica begin the women's long jump at 1 p.m. and Golbach follows up with the men's high jump at 2pmCT Johnson will then take part in the women's 3,000-meter run at 3:55pmCT.

Borden and Van Wyk close out Friday with the long jump at 4pmCT and the 200-meter dash at 5pmCT, respectively.
