Dorothy Emiline Chriswell, 87, Russell Springs, KY (1935-2023) Dorothy Emiline (Morgan) Chriswell of Russell Springs passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Fair Oaks Health and Rehab. She was 87 years old. No services will be held at this time. Born on November 17, 1935, in Monticello, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Baalum and Polly Jane Fulton Morgan. Dorothy was a homemaker. She enjoyed making quilt tops, singing, and could play the guitar and banjo beautifully. She was a hard worker. She is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Larry) Humphrey of Russell Springs, two step-daughters; three step-sons; and one granddaughter, Emma Lee Chriswell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Morgan; and a sister, Evelyn Smith. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family of Ms. Chriswell with her final expenses.
