Gilbert Warren, 86, Campbellsville, KY (1937-2023) Gilbert Warren of Campbellsville died at 1:25 P.M., Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Elizabethtown. He was 86 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Freddy Thompson. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 11amET until 1pmET on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Gilbert Warren, son of the late Bee Warren and Gertie Nelson Warren, was born February 1, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove Methodist Church. Gilbert was retired from Kentucky Trailers. Gilbert loved his family more than anything and enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden and making people laugh. He also loved animals especially his fur babies: Princess and Puppy. Eating good food and watching the birds eat at the birdfeeders also brought him pleasure. He united in marriage to Nellie Agnes Underwood December 25, 1959. Besides his wife, Nellie Warren of Campbellsville, he is survived by three daughters and one son: Sheila Massengale of Pine Knott, Lisa Stillwell and Nancy Mings and husband, Tony of Campbellsville and Mike Warren and wife, Lou Ann of Columbia; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Agnes Gunter and husband Rollin of Franklin, Indiana and Bernice Stillwell of Hodgenville and one sister-in-law: Mary Warren of Green County; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Gilbert was also preceded in death by four brothers: Stoy Warren, Roy Warren, Wilburn Warren and Linzie Herman Warren. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
