James Keith Dunbar, 55, Russell County, KY (1967-2023)

James Keith Dunbar, of Russell Springs, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Russell County Hospital, following an extended illness. He was 55 years of age.

Keith was born November 12, 1967, in Wanamaker, Indiana, son of James "Jimmy" and Nelda Sullivan Dunbar. He was a past employee of Fruit of the Loom, of Jamestown, and had worked for over twenty years with Stephens Pipe and Steel.



He is survived by his daughter, Erynn Elisabeth Dunbar, of Jefferson, Georgia; his mother, Nelda Dunbar, of Russell Springs; his brother and sister-in-law, J. Kendell and Ellie Dunbar, of Jefferson, Georgia; and a special nephew, David Alexander Dunbar, of Jefferson, Georgia.

Keith is preceded in death by his father, James K. Dunbar.

The Dunbar family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the college fund for Erynn Dunbar, c/o Bernard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 308, Russell Springs, KY 42642.
