Carol Morris, 79, Campbellsville, KY (1943-2023)

Carol Morris of Campbellsville departed this life on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at her residence. She was 79 years old.

The funeral service for Carol Morris will be held at 10amET on Thursday, February 23, 2023, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.

The family requests visitation on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5pmET until 8pmET at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Carol Morris, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Ruby (Thompson) Miller, was born June 3, 1943 in Taylor County, KY.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Spurlington United Methodist Church.

She was retired from Fruit of the Loom, a homemaker and was side by side with her husband in his ministry for the Lord.

Survivors include her husband: Rev. J. Robert Morris to whom she married on June 9, 1962.

To this union were born four children: Stephen Morris and wife Carolyn, Mark Morris and wife Sandra, Robyn Netherland and husband Ben and Jamie Morris and wife Amanda, all of Campbellsville.

Also surviving are two brothers: Larry Miller and Keith Miller and wife Wanda all of Campbellsville; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother: Charlotte Hunt and Joey Miller.

Memorials are suggested to be donations to Gideon Bibles or Hosparus.
