ACJE Bryant asks for resignations from CAUD Board

Larry Russell Bryant
Adair County Judge Executive
February 7, 2023

Adair County Water Board/ Columbia Adair Utilities
109 grant Lane, Columbia, KY 42728

Dear Sirs:

As County Judge Executive and former board member of the Columbia/Adair Utility District, I feel at this time it is my sworn duty to represent the 19, 000+ population of Adair County.

Knowing what I know about the past practices and the present financial status along with the current audit, I am thankful to have Tim Baker appointed back to the board.

With this being said, I feel it is the correct time to respectfully ask for the resignation of all other board members and the Adair County Water District Manager.

Per KRS 65.009, I will be appointing a Magistrate of the Fiscal Court to serve on the Adair County Water Board as EX Officio to keep the citizens of Adair County informed and to avoid another possible hospital tax situation.

Sincerely,
Larry Russell Bryant
Adair County Judy Executive
