Norman Reeder, 75, Russell County, KY (1947-2023)

Norman (Donk) Reeder, 75, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, February 15th, at his home. He was born in Jamestown, KY on August 7, 1947, a son of the late Josephine (Bledsoe) and Willie Reeder.

He served in the U. S. Army and was a retired city worker for the City of Jamestown.



Norman is survived by

wife, Jeanie (Lawless) Reeder, of Jamestown, KY;

a daughter, Charly Moreno (Zenon), of Jamestown, KY;

two sons Mark Reeder, of Russell Springs, KY; Josh Reeder, of Jamestown, KY;

two sisters, Mary Jo Woodrum, of Jamestown, KY; Janet Centers (Mike), of Somerset, KY.

a brother, Leonard Reeder (Paige), of Raleigh, NC;

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Marshall and Jerry Reeder, and a sister Doris Jean Reeder.

Funeral Service will be held 11amCT Saturday, February 18th at Creelsboro Nazarene Church in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Rod Lawless officiating.

Friends may visit 10am till time of service on Saturday February 18th at the Creelsboro Nazarene Church, Jamestown, KY.

Burial in the Reeder Cemetery, Jamestown, KY, with military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.

Pallbearers: Chris Taylor, Brandon Rigney, Jeffrey Reeder, Todd Woodrum, Richard Bennett, Jared Coffey, Shawn Kemp, and Bo Kemp.
