Joyce Walker, 79, Knifley, KY (1943-2023) Joyce Walker of Knifley departed this life Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in Louisville at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Center. She was 79 years old. The funeral service for Joyce Walker will be held at 1pmET on Monday, February 20, 2023, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Hugh Withers officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested on Monday from 11amET until time for the service. Joyce Walker, the daughter of the late George Ford and Carrie (Shaw) Kavich, was born June 23, 1943 in Louisville, KY. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Knifley Christian Church. Joyce enjoyed collecting dolls, crafting, loved jewelry and shopping. She united in marriage to Franklin Roosevelt Walker, who preceded him in death in 2017. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in deth by a brother: Buddy Kavich. Survivors include four children: Angela Hoke and companion Walter Brangers, Pamela Wilkerson and husband Brad Cook, Robin Piercy and husband David and Rusty Walker and wife Linda. Also two sisters: Cathy Young and husband Gary and Sandy Hatfield; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and special friend: Jessie Nunez. L.R. Petty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
