Billy Wallace (Wally) Ellis, Jr., 45, Buffalo, KY (1977-2023)

Mr. Billy Wallace "Wally" Ellis, Jr., of Buffalo, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Baptist Health Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was 45 years old.

There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Ellis at 1pmET on Sunday, February 19, 2023, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday after NoonET, until time for the service.

Son of Lucille (Benningfield) and the late Billy Wallace Ellis, Sr., he was born in Marion County on June 21, 1977, and was of the Christian faith. He loved to work and was a talented welder. He enjoyed spending his free time outside, usually hunting or fishing.

He leaves to mourn his passing:
  • Two sons, Daniel Ellis and companion Jasmin Shawler of Liberty, and Rowdy Ellis of Campbellsville,
  • His mother, Lucille Ellis of Lebanon
  • A sister, Lou Jean Hasty and husband George of Lebanon
  • One grandchild, Carson Shawler
  • A host of extended family members and friends
