Lewis Wheeler, 79, Columbia, KY (1943-2023)

Lewis Wheeler of Columbia died on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 9:45 P.M. at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was 79 years old.

Lewis requested a private burial in Antioch Cemetery, with no visitation or funeral service.

He was born October 23, 1943, in Adair County, to the late Duluth "Dukie" and Cecil Petty Wheeler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Morris.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Jean Kemp Wheeler of Columbia
  • One son - Todd Wheeler (April) of Cynthiana
  • One daughter - Annette Rowe (Allen) of Columbia
  • Two brothers - Eugene Wheeler (Sharon) of Florida, Haskin Wheeler (Martha) of Arkansas
  • One sister - Theril Burton of Columbia
  • Four grandchildren - Sasha Abbott (Levi), Chase Firkins, Heather Rowe, Lucas Rowe (Alicia)
  • Several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends
