Norene Feese, 83, Knifley, KY (1939-2023)

Norene Willis Feese of Knifley passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. She was 83 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Gary Welker officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Wednesday morning at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


She was born in Adair County, KY on November 30, 1939 to the late James Luther and Malissia Rice Willis. She was preceded in death by her husband Clement Feese.

Mrs. Feese was of the Baptist faith and previously attended Plum Point Baptist Church and Charity Baptist Church and most recently SONrise Church. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family, friends, and anyone in need.

Survivors include four children Pam Feese Hale (Ronnie) of Columbia, Ky, Malissa Feese Royse (Mark) of Columbia, KY, Clemadine Feese (Robin) of Somerset, KY, and James Feese (Tonya) of Knifley, KY; seven grandchildren Jeremy Hale (Jiminy), Nick Hale (Tiffany), Tiffany McMinoway (Mike), Matthew McCarol (Katie), Madison Kimbler (Tyler), Kiley Feese, Grant Feese, and Wyatt Feese; five great grandchildren Adelyn and Jace McMinoway, Ryanna and Jonah Hale, Kinsley Hale and Clay Everett Hale on the way; five step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren; a sister Viola Benaitis of Campbellsville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son John Clement Feese, a grandson Michael Lee Farmer, and two siblings Alton Willis and Fanny Bell Pederson.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hale, Nick Hale, Matthew McCarol, Grant Feese, Mike McMinoway, Tyler Kimbler, and Jace McMinoway.
