ACMS Academic Team take honors at Governor's Cup

The Adair County Middle School Academic Team took home honors in the 5th Region Governor's Cup Competition on Saturday, February 4, 2023. The competition took place at Green County Middle School, where four individuals completed written assessments in their chosen subject area.

Hannah Kotter (8th grade) placed fourth in Language Arts. Riley Andrew (6th grade) and Natalea Kaylor (8th grade) captured 5th and 6th place in Arts and Humanities. Christopher Armenti (6th grade) was named the 5th Region Champion in Social Studies with his first-place finish.

The ACMS Quick Recall team members Hannah Kotter, Natalea Kaylor, Summer Graziano, Sarah Goforth, Daria Cheng, Suzy Kotter, Riley Andrew, Elaine Cook, Pierce Stotts, and Christopher Armenti earned an impressive second-place finish.

Finally, the Future Problem Solving team including Hannah Kotter, Natalea Kaylor, Sarah Goforth, Suzy Kotter, Riley Andrew, and Daria Cheng were awarded Region Champions with their first-place finish. All members will move on to the State Championship in March at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Adair County Middle School Academic Team took home multiple honors in the 5th Region Governor's Cup Competition on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Green County Middle School. The team will compete in the State Championship in March at the Galt House in Louisville.
