Eddie Mae Lobb, 83, Greensburg, KY (1939-2023)

Eddie Mae Lobb of Greensburg departed this life on Friday, February 3, 2023 at her home. She was 83 years old.

The funeral services for Eddie Mae Lobb will be conducted at 2pmCT on Tuesday, February 6, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Twyman Davis and Bro. Trent Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Church Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and after 7amCT on Tuesday until time of the funeral service.


Eddie Mae Lobb, daughter of the late Coys Moran and Christine Adkins Moran was born on Sunday, November 5, 1939 in Green County.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Harmony Independent Baptist Church. She was retired from the Fruit of Loom having worked there for 30 years.

Survived by her husband of 63 years, Ezra Ralph Lobb of Greensburg having united in marriage on June 6, 1959.

Other survivors include three daughters and son-in-law: Theresa Collings of Greensburg, Denise and Jeff Gilpin of Campbellsville, and Donna Lobb Orrand of Greensburg; three grandchildren: Trisha Hall, Faun Crenshaw, and husband, Brandon, Jackie Curtsinger, and husband Aaron; four step-grandchildren: Michael Collings, Matt and Layla Collings, Magel and Damon Creason, and Mitch and Elizabeth Collings; eight great-grandchildren: Shelby and Chase Burton, Hannah England, Peydon Hall, Haley Curtsinger, Colton Curtsinger, Zackary Curtsinger, Keely Crenshaw, and Kaya Crenshaw; five step-great-grandchildren: Elijah Collings, Ossian Howard Collings, Maddox Creason, Jocelyn Collings, and Finn Collings; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Geraldine and William Milby, Glenda and Larry Thompson, Christine and Nick Milby all of Greensburg; a brother and sisters-in-law: Tommy and Shelia Moran and Patsy Moran all of Greensburg.

Mrs. Lobb was also preceded in death by two sisters and a bother: Betty Compton, Angie Moran, David Moran; and a son-in-law: Mitch Collings.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Harmony Independent Baptist Church Fund.
