Happy Birthday to writer Robert Stone

2023-02-06 - TN - Photo from personal collection.

Robert Stone of Columbia Magazine Haiku fame celebrated a birthday over the weekend. He shared this photo from a former birthday with friends while working at "The Bookstore". His cake was iced to match the cover of a book he'd joked with them about.

Robert and his friend Tom Chaney could be found, as Tom wrote, "telling stories, planning a fine next meal, and occasionally selling books at The Bookstore in Horse Cave, KY." Click here to go back to 2016 and read one of the book reviews from that time.
