New Blessing Boxes placed in Adair County

From Heather Dudley/Bradley Stephens

The Salvation Army, Columbia Unit, meets throughout the year to identify and discuss needs in the community. This past year, food insecurity was identified as a high need, and blessing boxes in the county would be most beneficial at this time.

Ricky Roy, with Building and Apartment Maintenance (Office of Career Technology Education) constructed the boxes in his classroom at Adair YDC.

Two boxes have been placed in the community and we couldn't be more excited! One box has been 'adopted' by Knifley Chapel Brethren in Christ, located at 6029 Elkhorn Road, Knifley KY.

The second box has been 'adopted' by Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church, located at 1025 Wheeler Hill Road, Columbia KY. We encourage you to utilize these blessing boxes if you are in need.
