2023 Basketball Homecoming is Saturday, January 21

Basketball Homecoming for Adair County High School will take place between the boys' and girls' games vs Metcalfe County at around 6:30pmCT on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

The 2023 Basketball Homecoming candidates are:
  • Mr. and Ms. ACHS are Cy Yarberry and Gracelynn Akin
    Gracelynn Akin is the 17-year-old daughter of Heather and Stacy Akin, and Cy Yarberry is the 17-year-old son of Mindy and Kevin Yarberry.

  • Mr. and Ms. Freshman are Landon Holmes and Kylie Redmon
    Kylie Redmon is the 14-year-old daughter of Hannah Dorman and Derrick Redmon, and Landon Holmes is the 15-year-old son of Jessica and Steven Thomas.

  • Mr. and Ms. Junior are Kevin Familia and Ellie Cheatham
    Ellie Cheatham is the 17-year-old daughter of Bryan and Tiffany Cheatham, and Kevin Familia is the 16-year-old son of Rafael familia.

  • Mr. and Ms. Senior are Andrew Loy and Briley Burns
    Briley Burns is the 17-year-old daughter of Randy and Miranda Burns, and Andrew Loy is the 17-year-old son of Kasey and Holly Loy.

  • Mr. and Ms. Sophomore are Carter White and Jade Waggener
    Jade Waggener is the 15-year-old daughter of Doug and Rachel Waggener, and Carter White is the 16-year-old son of Joey and Elizabeth White.

  • ACCEL Academy will be represented by Ashton Flatt, the 17-year-old daughter of Daryl and Candice Flatt. She will be escorted by Kaden Richard, the 16-year-old son of Dereck and Tonya Richard.

  • Band will be represented by Cady Taylor, the 18-year-old daughter of Wesley and Julie Taylor. She will be escorted by Brylan White, the 16-year-old son of Krishana and Danny Jessie.

  • Baseball will be represented by Leah Dykes, the 17-year-old daughter of Wendy and Mark Dykes. She will be escorted by Ryan Wilkerson, the 18-year-old son of Kendra and Edward Wilkerson.

  • BETA/NHS will be represented by Rachel Brown, the 18-year-old daughter of Randy and Janella Brown. She will be escorted by Alex Loy, the 17-year-old son of Kasey and Holly Loy.

  • Boys Basketball will be represented by Alyssa Simpson, the 17-year-old daughter of Jennifer Janes and William Simpson. She will be escorted by JB Piatt, the 18-year-old son of Heather and Brent Piatt.

  • Cadet Corps will be represented by Caitlin Mcinteer, the 17-year-old daughter of Gina and Johnny Mcinteer. She will be escorted by Nathan Hines.

  • Cheer will be represented by Madison Cole, the 17-year-old daughter of Elizabeth Tarter and Ryan Cole. She will be escorted by Colton Feese, the 19-year-old son of Angie and Bryan Feese.

  • Evolve will be represented by Hailey Judd, the 17-year-old daughter of Samantha and Nick Brown. She will be escorted by Iasac Booher, the 18-year-old son of Deidre Patterson and Trent Booher.

The Adair County High School 2023 Basketball Homecoming Queen was Megan Helm, center, representing HOSA. She is the 18-year-old daughter of Mike and Tonia Helm, and was escorted by Conor Smith, the 17-year-old son of Dale and Cindy Smith.

First runner-up was the Student Ambassadors candidate Emylou Miller, the 18-year-old daughter of Paul and Lena Miller. She was escorted by Collin Pike, the 18-year-old son of John and Gina Pike.
