Letter: I-65 Spur Sign on the Nunnery Parkway

Jim Hudson writes:
The parkway will eventually become a spur on I65. It will then have an interstate designation, possibly I-365, I-465, etc. This happened to the Natcher Parkway just a few years ago ( It is now I-165).

The plan is to convert all Kentucky parkways to interstate spurs. Doing so will require some minor upgrades in order to meet certain interstate geometric criteria. Becoming an interstate spur should allow federal funds to be utilized for future maintenance.
