Letter: ARPA funding

Mary Bardin writes:
This article states primarily for drug and alcohol abuse funding. There are no statements as to what amount has been spent on alcohol and drug abuse funding or where the funding will be spent. I see downtown Columbia getting a much needed facelift to some of the old run down buildings. I assume the paint and refurbishment is a result of the funding.

What I don't see is the amount spent primarily on drug and alcohol abuse. I know the article states that most if the funding is still available. Adair County is one of the higher ranked counties in KY for SUD. Adair County also has a high number of overdoses, including in our jail system. Please post the plan as to how the rest of the funding will be utilized. How can this money best benefit or city and county?
