Basketball: LWC Men finish 2022 at Lee University

Cleveland, TN - At Paul Dana Walker Arena, the Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team concluded the calendar year with its third and final exhibition of the season against the Flames of Lee University.

Behind a strong presence from behind the three-point line, the hosts fanned their lead and ultimately emerged victorious, 89-50.

Elijah Jordan and Jamyus Jones each contributed a team-high eight points for the Blue Raiders while Mark Edmond paced the locals on the glass with three rebounds.

All told, Lindsey Wilson knocked down six three-pointers, including two from Jones. At the free throw line, the Blue Raiders converted on 10 of 12 attempts, besting Lee by over 30 percent.

The men's basketball team returns to its Mid-South conference schedule on January 5 in Ohio when they visit Wilberforce University.
