Smoking materials cause apartment fire By Chris Taylor, Chief Executive Director Fire-Rescue-EMS Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a report of a working apartment fire on Roland Street. Upon arrival, firefighters found a light haze coming from an upstairs apartment. Firefighters searched for occupants, extinguished a small contents fire, provided ventilation and overhaul. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported. The damage was limited to a mattress/belongings and the apartment still usable. The cause of the fire is related to smoking materials.
