Bitterly cold weather expected late next week

Bitterly cold weather is expected to move into the Ohio Valley late next week. Current NWS Louisville forecasts show this cold air arriving by next Thursday and the cold is expected to remain in place through the Christmas holidays. Their forecast confidence on this bitterly cold weather is high.

Some wintry weather may accompany the arrival the cold air, however, uncertainty remains very high. Details on that part of the forecast are expectedd to become clearer next week.
