Michael Joseph Blair, 68, Taylor Co., KY (1954-2022)

Michael Joseph Blair of Taylor County passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at his home. He was 68 years old.

The funeral services for Michael Jospeh Blair will be conducted at 1pmET on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Wilburn Bonta officiating. Burial will follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 9:30amET on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time for the funeral service.

Michael Joseph Blair, son of the late Carl Blair and Betty Lou Ryder Blair, was born on Monday, April 5, 1954 in Paintsville, Kentucky.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was also a paving operator and tester for Nalley and Hayden Quarry for 25 plus years. He loved music and playing in bands. Loved drag racing, watching football, baseball, and U.K. Basketball.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Todd and Amy Blair of Franklin; six grandchildren: Alyah Polley, Colton Polley, Aiden Bowles, Hayden Elders, Lyric Blair, and Talyn Blair; two great-grandchildren: Easton Finn and Londyn Finn; a sister and brother-in-law: Diana and Ernest Davis of Green County; two nephews: Dennis Delk, II, and Woodrow "Woody" Baugh; and a great-nephew Delk, III; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a sister: Debbie Griffin

Pallbearers: Talyn Blair, Terry Brown, Timmy Curry, Junior Emery, Rickey Hickerson, Levi Massie, Aiden Bowles, Colton Polley

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
