Loretta Wells, 79, Jamestown, KY (1942-2022) Loretta Wells of Jamestown passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Russell County Hospital. She was 79 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Mike Bunch and Bro. Jesse Jewell officiating. Interment will follow at Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown, KY. Friends may visit from 11amCT to 1pmCT on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY. Loretta was born in Jamestown, KY on December 4, 1942, a daughter of the late Nora (Knight) and Harvey Lawless. She worked at Brockway Glass for 15 years and retired from RCA records. Loretta loved bowling in her younger days and won many trophies, she enjoyed playing cards and games, doing crossword puzzles and she had a very competitive spirit, she also loved to go fishing and working in her garden. She was an excellent cook and was known for her fried apple pies and brownies. Loretta is survived by:
