Sunset and the Children's Hour

We've had a run of great sunset photos lately, which we've collected together, along with a sunrise or two. Click headline to see them all in one place. --Pen

By Veronica Arnold

I too noticed the amazing peach and orange hues in the sunset tonight! Wow I hope you took a glance. The golden light made me think of thr first stanza from this poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The golden time between darkness and daylight, when family is together and all seems right.

The Children's Hour
By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Between the dark and the daylight,
When the night is beginning to lower,
Comes a pause in the day's occupations,
That is known as the Children's Hour
