Kathenia Sue Marr, 83, Summersville, KY native (1938-2022)

Kathenia Sue Marr of Radcliff passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Elizabethtown. She was 83 years old.

The funeral services for Kathenia Sue Marr will be conducted at 1pmCT on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Kelvin Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Bennett Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.


Kathenia Sue Marr, daughter of the late Willis Marr and Lydia Chaudoin Marr, was born on Saturday, December 24, 1938 in Summersville.

She is survived by nieces and nephews: Ricky and Shirnell Marr, Terry and Connie Marr all of Summersville, Timmy and Ann Marr of Greensburg, H.W. and Lynn Marr of Elizabethtown, Beverly and Dan Brooks of Texas, Diane Graham of Louisville; special caretakers: Hilda, Renita and Staff at D&S Services; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Thelma Marr, Edith Graham; two brothers: Henry P. Marr, Lou Marr; a nephew: Phillip Graham.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or Bennett Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Terry Marr, Brett Marr, H.W. Marr, Scott Coffey, Jody Marr, Ricky Marr.
