Barbara Dell Whitlow Bills McAfee, 77, Green Co., KY (1945-2022)

Barbara Dell Whitlow Bills McAfee of Greensburg passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at her home. She was 77 years old.

The funeral services will be conducted at 11amCT on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Greg Whitlow and Bro. Todd Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Friday until time of the funeral service.


Barbara Dell Whitlow Bills McAfee, daughter of the late Charles Calvin Whitlow and Elaine Milby Warren, was born on Thursday, May 17, 1945 in Green County, Kentucky.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was also a retired transportation dispatcher for 30 years and last worked for Lyle Trucking Company.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Danny and Pam Bills, Mike and Tracy Bills all of Greensburg, and Tony and Mandy Bills of Franklin; a daughter and son-in-law: Simone and Charlie Walker of Mississippi; a daughter-in-law: Gina McAfee of Columbia; 13 grandchildren: Chelsea Bills of Louisville, Natalie Curry of Greensburg, Jessica Crawford of MS, Grayson Bills of Greensburg, Bethany McAfee of Columbia, Hannah McAfee of Monticello, Abby Bills of Louisville, Sidney McGoldrick, Sam Walker both of MS, Logan Bills, Colin Bills both of Franklin, Sophia McGoldrick of MS, and Sarah Bault of Columbia; seven great-grandchildren: Finn, Norah, Ruby, Hattie, Helix, Shepherd, and Baker; a sister-in-law: Peggy Whitlow of Summersville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Barbara was also preceded in death by a son: Douglas Dewayne McAfee on July 27, 2017; and a brother: Tommy Whitlow.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bennett Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
