Soccer: LWC Men take on No. 14 Bethel

Lindsey Wilson men's soccer will finish its 3-game home span on Friday, as they take on 14th-ranked Bethel University (IN). The match between the Blue Raiders (1-2-2) and the Pilots (5-1-1) begins at 7pmCT on September 16, 2022, on Ray Wells Field at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Holloway Drive, Columbia, KY.

This match is the fourth time these two teams have met in their history with Lindsey Wilson winning 2-1 in their last meeting on Sept. 25, 2010.

The Blue Raiders received their first win of the season in their previous 4-2 victory against Lyon (AR). LWC scored three unanswered goals in the second half after trailing 2-1 at half. Alvaro Verwey and Monwabisi Mngqibisa's two late goals in the 84th and 85th minutes helped Lindsey Wilson pull away from the Scots to secure the win.

The Pilots are coming off a 5-1 dominating performance against Aquinas (MI) in their last match.

Live Stats and video will be available.
