Letter: Congratulations Elliott Young

Laura Murrell writes:
While I am very proud of the Post 15 State Troopers, I would like to say congratulations to an Adair County connection at Post 4. Elliott Young is the great grandson of the late Zelma and Holland Coffey of Montpelier.

Not only did he receive the award for Trooper of the Year for Post 4, but also was the Kentucky State Trooper of the Year! His grandparents are Carl and June Coffey of Mt. Washington. Carl is my uncle and Elliott’s mother, Carla Young (Vincent), is my first cousin! He has been an outstanding young man all his life and all of his Adair Co. family are so very proud of him! - LM
