William Henry Viers, 73, Taylor County, KY (1948-2022)

William Henry Viers, 73, of Elkhorn, KY, son of the late James Burt Viers and Mattie Bell Bray Viers, was born October 16th, 1948, in Taylor County and departed this life on Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at his home.

He professed his faith in Christ and was of Church of God faith, He was a retired construction worker after many years. William loved hunting and fishing and really enjoyed a good game of Rook.



He united in marriage to Marlyn Lou Doss on August 1st, 1970, who preceded him in death on November 8th, 2016.

Survived by one son: James Robert Viers of Elkhorn.

One granddaughter, Brittney Nicole Viers of Elkhorn.

Two brothers: Larry Viers and significant other, Elaine Simpson of Adair County and Randy Stanley Viers of Elkhorn.

Two sisters Joy Rawlings and husband Sherrill of Lebanon and Teresa Richardson of Louisville.

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Roland Viers, Gary Viers and Verly Brown.

Visitation will be Monday, September 5th, 2022, from 5pm-8pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville with the service on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, at 2pm EST.

Burial to follow in Callahan Cemetery.
