Letter: Voting in Primary

Marie Freeman writes:
I wish Kentucky would change the law where you can vote in the primary even if you're an independent. It's one of 17 states that does not allow you to vote in the primary unless you have a designated party. I believe it's still that way? Maybe somebody can enlighten me if the law has changed. It's the only reason I chose party affiliation.
